Founded over fifty years ago, Barton Music & Affiliates is an independent music publisher with a world class catalog containing "timeless" standards written by the likes of Sammy Cahn, James Van Heusen, Jule Styne, Ken Lane, Irving Taylor, Robert Wells and many more legendary writers.

The list of musical greats who have covered our works is as long as it is distinguished. Artists such as Dean Martin, Billie Holiday, Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole, Sarah Vaughan, Louis Armstrong, Etta James and Count Basie among others have all made classic recordings, along with a diverse array of more contemporary artists like, Robbie Williams, Harry Connick Jr., Carly Simon, Rod Stewart, Robert Palmer and The Del McCoury Band.

Of course one performer stands out above the rest for immortalizing these songs in the minds of music lovers around the world, and that man is no other than the legendary Chairman of the Board himself, Mr. Frank Sinatra. It was Sinatra's original recordings of the majority of these compositions which secured their status as "timeless" standards and monuments of popular music. Contained within our catalogue are nine "Top Ten" hits, three songs which went all the way to #1 on the charts and two ( "All The Way" and "High Hopes" ) which earned Sammy Cahn and James Van Heusen "Best Song" Academy Awards in 1957 and 1959.
